About CommShare

One of the UK's leading discount brokers

CommShare is a financial services company, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We are often referred to as a discount broker.

We arrange investments, such as unit trusts and OEICs, mainly in tax beneficial products like ISAs.

Why investors use CommShare

Investors use us to arrange investments because they benefit from better terms than investing directly with investment companies or fund supermarkets. Savings can be substantial, up to 5.5% up-front.

Always check with a discount broker before investing directly

Always check with a discount broker before investing directly with a fund company or fund supermarket. In most cases, investing direct is a waste of your hard-earned money.

We don't give advice

CommShare doesn’t give advice, so our service is for investors who are happy taking their own investment decisions. If you are not sure about choosing your own investments, you should seek professional advice.

Because we're small we try harder

We are quite a small company (15 people) but we’ve been arranging investments since 1999 with more than 20,000 clients.

We try hard to keep our clients happy. As you can appreciate, we only make money if our clients are happy to stay with us for many years.

You're in safe hands

Quite a few people ask whether it’s safe to use our service. We don’t think you have any cause for concern. We only act as a middleman between you and an investment company. Apart from our fees, you never pay us any money. Your investment cheques are always payable to investment companies, and apart from our fees, investment companies never pay any of your investment monies to us.

If you're not sure, please ask

We hope you decide to use our service and if there is anything we can help you with, or any questions you want to ask, please contact us. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will be more than happy to help you.

CommShare doesn't give investment advice. If you're unsure about suitability, you should seek professional advice. Past performance of an investment is not a guide to future performance. The value of investments or income from them can go down as well as up. You might not get back the amount you invest. Current tax levels and reliefs will depend on your individual circumstances.
